Crime, homelessness issues and expensive rules and regulations from city hall all seem to be taking their toll on small business owners in San Francisco.

“I just decided we were going to take it apart. So the night before, I told the guys to keep it open. And sure enough, there's a guy in there, no pants on,” Lee said.

Earlier this year, his shop was broken into and thieves stole his cash register and an iPad he uses for orders. But they say they do have other grants available that could possibly help those on the bubble. They also say they can help small businesses navigate the city's bureaucracy.
