Some advertisers are requiring their agencies to disclose when they use generative AI

advertisers and social media platforms to disclose the use generative AI in influencer campaigns, The Financial Times reported.

Advertisers aren't under any obligation to use this template, but since its release, Keri Bruce, partner at the law firm Reed Smith, said she had received an uptick in inbound contact from clients and companies that don't work with the law firm about what their contracts should look like in light of the generative AI boom.

Indeed, many marketers are still in the early stages of figuring out agreements with their agencies about how generative AI can be used in the scope of their work. Most of the marketers Insider spoke to for this article agreed that AI is unlikely to displace their agencies any time soon.
