KUANTAN: Cooperation between industry players and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions must be strengthened in order to provide courses that meet the needs of industry, says the Pahang Mentri Besar.

Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said TVET plays an important role in addressing the unemployment issue among youth because it is able to equip students with the knowledge and skills required by industry.

“Collaboration with industry also enables TVET institutions to offer programmes of higher quality that are relevant to market needs,” he said when officiating the 2023 Kolej Yayasan Pahang Advanced Skills convocation ceremony here yesterday.
