The company involved in the Titanic underwater mission before one of its vessels went missing had been warned by leaders in the industry about its"experimental" approach.
Search crews involving the United States and Canadian Coast Guards, the Navy and Canadian Armed Forces, the US Transportation Command, and deep sea firms are racing against the clock as the craft only has 40 hours of air left inside. "To date, those search efforts have not yielded any results," Cpt Frederick said, adding it was taking time for assets to be brought to the remote area which is situated about 600 kilometres south-east of Newfoundland in Canada.
It comes after industry leaders had personally written to Mr Rush, the submersible company's chief executive, over"unanimous" concerns about the"experimental" Titan.
