NBCNewsTech No kidding, almost all food delivery services have done that. Being cheaper to customers by letting them decide how much delivery people should get paid . What did we think people would do , give an extra 30 percent? Pizza companies have added a delivery fee on top

DoorDash is guilty of this too. Better to tip in cash instead. Instacart is a greed-ridden company which does not give a crap about the drivers. Do not waste your time driving for that company. You will make next to nothing. You pay for gas maintenance and time. Instacart is a supreme ripoff. When I was a kid the only tip we would get was the tip of a gentleman's hat.
