It's hoped to provide a boost to the local economy

New plans have been put forward for a glamping site in East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. The glamping site has been proposed for land off Kneeton Road, opposite Lammas Farm in East Bridgford.

If the plans are approved by Rushcliffe Borough Council the glamping site would see hot tubs positioned next to some of the shepherd huts. The application was put forward by developers Willis and Co on behalf of the applicant Mr P Kerry. The planning statement states that the site would be seasonal, so only used for part of the year. Structures would be dismantled and stored away throughout the winter.

The application was submitted because increasing the number of proposed shepherd huts on the site will ensure that the business remains financially viable, the plans state. .
