A video clip from a Tesla shareholder meeting was altered to misrepresent CEO Elon Musk’s comments in a recent social media post.

"ElonMusk’ latest investment surprises banking experts and scares big banks too!" reads a July 10 Facebookthat shares the video. The video’s caption says:"ElonMusk is urging everyone in the UK to take advantage of this great opportunity before the big banks close completely."

The video appears to show Musk mispronouncing his own name while introducing himself and then saying he would"like to introduce you to Quantum AI, the world’s first quantum computing software developed by my team." This post was flagged as part of Meta’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed.
