City Meat Market was established in 1910; while owners John and Rosina Bruni have operated popular business since 2005

City Meat Market, a locally owned and operated landmark business on Queen Street East, is up for sale.Bruni, a senior, has decided it’s time to hang up his butcher’s knife.

He added that he would be pleased if the new owners - whoever they may be - continue to operate the building as a butcher’s shop and grocery store. Such businesses are scarce in the Sault’s downtown core.
