Doubt had been cast over the future production of the series after the news on Thursday that the show's production company filed for bankruptcy

The future of RTÉ's hit crime series Kin will not be jeopardised by the bankruptcy of the Canadian production company behind the show, Bron Studios.

The news is sure to be provide some welcome relief to fans up and down the country who soaked up season 2 in March and have since been eagerly awaiting season 3, reportedly filmed last summer. Boasting a filmography which includes box office sensation Joker and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the Canadian production company announced its decision after experiencing "a very tough few years" of financial uncertainty.
