According to the company , Comcast saw its theatrical revenue rise 65.9% year-over-year. The company credited the hit film with the rise. It grossed $1.3 billion in worldwide box office sales, becoming the second-highest-grossing animated film ever and still sitting as the highest-grossing film of 2023.Elsewhere, Comcast also saw a 22% jump in its theme park revenue. The company also credited Nintendo, as the highly popular Super Nintendo World at Universal in Hollywood opened in 2023.

Comcast also reported on its earnings on the Peacock streaming service, which it says added 2 million subscribers in Q2. The streaming service now sits at about 24 million total subscribers. The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to
