They were once business rivals in the beauty clinic world - but now Cheshire's reigning botox queens Dr Nyla Raja and Dawn Ward have united to share a major announcement. For Dr Nyla, who runs her own MediSpa in Alderley Edge, is to take the reins of Dawn's Skulpt clinic in a merger that few would have seen coming.
But, as Dawn recently moved to Dubai with her ex-footballer husband Ashley Ward, she said she knew the time was now right to sell on her Skulpt business in Cheshire. She continues to run her award-winning interior design business Arista. Dawn added: "Two strong women are better together as a force instead of competing. Women power is everything, if two strong women stick together we're bigger than anyone.
She says after launching Skulpt it became integral to her business to only use medically-trained professionals. She says: "I was straight away inundated with clients, we got really really busy, really quickly. I recruited really good doctors, nurses, really good aestheticians. Nyla recalls: "It was always very subtle work, she liked the way I did her face. She's had different people and not been as comfortable with them as she was with me, but I have a very subtle approach."
