Citing insider reports, showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin claimed that Jeffrey Oh, CEO of Careless, might be subject to deportation proceedings after his alleged failure to provide authorities with necessary documents to operate business in the Philippines.

The management of Careless, including Reid, have yet to address these claims, as of writing.

A source from the company who requested anonymity said, however, that Reid still “is very much active as an artist and as its chairman.” The source declined to comment on other topics mentioned by Fermin.
