Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, said in his first interview since testifying before Congress that then-Vice President Joe Biden knew he was meeting with his son’s business partners at multiple dinners and meetings, and that the speakerphone calls between the father and his son’s business partners were valuable to their foreign business.THE MIXED MESSAGES OF BIDENOMICS
“To be completely clear on the calls, I don’t know if it was an orchestrated call-in or not, it certainly was powerful though,” Archer said. “Because, you know, if you’re sitting with a foreign businessperson and you hear the vice president’s voice, that’s probably prize enough. That’s pretty impactful.”
Hunter Biden and Archer both served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, and worked on a number of other foreign deals before Archer’s arrest in 2016.
