Another well-known company has been forced to close its doors, announcing that it has entered liquidation in a short statement posted on its website.

Founded in 2008 by Lucy Fenton, the company started in a small showroom on the trendy High Street in Prahran.

The company boasted almost half a million followers on Instagram and a further 75,000 fans on Facebook. In an April interview, Ms Fenton credited a holiday to India as the “lightbulb moment” that sparked the launch of the business. Iconic music retailer Sanity, also founded in Melbourne, announced it was closing its doors in March and shifting to online sales only.

Just last week, Victoria’s largest privately-owned plumbing contractor, Richstone Group, collapsed owing millions.
