I chatted to Petri Redelinghuys from Herenya Capital about Chinese tech stocks. The Nasdaq has had an amazing run so far this year, but over in China their tech has been left behind even as the crackdown seems largely over. He has two offshore ETFs that he likes in the sector, one more focused on clean energy than just tech.The spaza industry in South Africa is huge, with annual revenue almost as high as Shoprite.

We also touched on how the FMCG businesses are trying to get a foothold in this lucrative space.Everything seems bleak in South Africa right now, and I spoke with Sean Neethling from Morningstar Investment Management SA. He points out that the local market is pricing in a worst-case scenario, and things only have to improve a little to see strong improvements in SA Inc stocks.I spoke with Krishan Gopaul from the World Gold Council about their second-quarter report.
