"There's a growing realisation that in order to achieve the military capability that we really need, there needs to be this collaboration between the MOD, industries, SMEs, academia and local government as well," he said. "That's good for all of us at the end of the day, because it's about putting more money back into the region."The cluster's future projects may also encompass the creation of physical clusters of related businesses, leveraging sites such as the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park to establish areas akin to LEP's existing Food Enterprise Zones.
