With the summer holidays well underway, many people are jetting off with their families to sunny locations abroad for a well deserved break. East Midlands Airport has hundreds of flights flying from the airport each week, with visitors depending on the businesses inside whilst they wait for boarding.
The airport caters for the needs of all passengers, whether they just need a quick snack or fancy a sit down meal. However, most passengers don't even consider how clean the businesses actually are, despite hundreds of people going through them every day. Each business is inspected by the Food Standards Agency, who then provide the site with a rating and any necessary recquirents. A five rating is the top of the scale indicating very good conditions, whereas zero means urgent changes are needed.
