The service interruption has been ongoing since Wednesday.

The disruption of Telus home phones and 911 landline service due to a hardware issue was reported shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday.

“We know how critical connectivity is for our customers, and we would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding as we worked to resolve the issue,” Adolfatto said in a statement.
