'Fresh' shots have been fired in the burger wars as US giant Wendy's prepares for a return to Australia. 9News

When the world's third-largest burger chain announced its return Down Under for a pop-up event earlier this year, the first man to import an American burger franchise was nonplussed.American fast food giant Wendy's has signed a deal to roll out 200 burger joints in Australia by the middle of the next decade.
