Revenue decreased 2 per cent to just over €4 billion

Kingspan, the Cavan-based insulation and materials giant, has reported earnings before deductions of €528 million for the first half of this year, a 3 per cent increase on the corresponding period last year.

However, revenue decreased 2 per cent to just over €4 billion, in what chief executive Gene Murtagh described as a “testing environment.” The company’s trading profit was relatively unchanged at €435.5 million, according to interim results from the group.
