Amazon gets plenty of tax breaks. They don't need anymore. 🙄 It's time for the rich and corporations to pay their fair share.

Not paying taxes is conning politicians out of money? Any economist who says that is as idiotic as a doctor who claims taking a hammer to your skull cures headaches.
People who keep bitching about Amazon not going to New York have never had a corporate leech on their town/city. Ask pfizer about all their huge plans for CT when they got all those tax breaks to build- they weren’t even there 10 years.
NYC never gave AMZN 3 billion dollars. The 3 billion dollars doesn't exist without AMZN. This is why NYC doesn't now have 3 billion more in their budget like AOC thinks. And the money simply wouldn't be taken, not given, big difference. You people have zero understanding of this.
What a bunch of hogwash! Amazon had negotiated to keep more of IT'S own money. Not somebody else's. Not the governments. Not the citizens of New York. Based on the anticipated tax revenue to be generated they worked out a deal to keep $3 billion of THEIR money!
