Among FTSE 100 constituents, residential building construction company Taylor Wimpey PLC TW, -4.26% saw the largest drop Monday, as shares dropped 4.26%

Residential Building Construction companies Berkeley Group Holdings PLC BKG, -3.28% and Barratt Developments PLC BDEV, -2.74% rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks fell 3.28% and 2.74%, respectively. Shares of hotels firm InterContinental Hotels Group PLC IHG, +1.13% and non-ferrous metals company Antofagasta PLC ANTO, +1.05% climbed 1.13% and 1.05%, respectively.

The pound was up 0.02% against dollar GBPUSD, +0.01% at $1.2737 and was down 0.12% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.15% at €1.1698.
