The yoga studio offers classes, workshops, meditation and sound healing. The studio is complemented by a carefully curated collection of houseplants that promote physical and mental well-being. All are for sale.
“I had time and space to stop with a life that’s always on the rat wheel,” she says. She asked herself, “What am I really doing here? Let’s make life more purposeful.”The combination of yoga and plants was a natural. “They’re my two favorite things in the world. It was easy,” she says. “I started in college and got a jade plant. I still have it. It is one of my prized possessions.
At home that led to 150 plants. And more are arriving for the store, which will offer a selection of indoor tropical plants, succulents, and cacti. With an emphasis on sustainability, Kloss will source plants from local nurseries and promote eco-friendly practices.
