- Colombia-focused gold producer Soma Gold announced today that the company produced 15,526 ounces of gold in H1 2023, up 33% from H1 2022.

Commenting on the results, President and CEO Javier Cordova said the company delivered another “strong” quarter, adding that Soma “continues to perform in line with its 2023 plan and guidance.” In order to meet its growth plan for 2024 and beyond, Soma said it plans to expand milling capacity by re-starting the El Limon mill.
