Amid all this dedication to our military veterans, one federal agency — the Federal Trade Commission — is denying veterans access to a life-saving cancer test.

Imagine then how an early detection test for cancers of the lung, pancreas, gallbladder, liver, breast and prostate — to name just a few — would be a game changer for our veterans community. If a veteran’s cancer is caught early, VA physicians would have time to integrate cancer care and mental health into a holistic plan as well as enable timely access to clinical trials, including those for rare or aggressive cancers.
