OMG such a crazy guy driving school bus

ArayAromaz Diabetics aren’t suppose to drive. Just like epileptics. Any disease that could cause unconsciousness whole drive. It’s a ticking time boom and a motor vehicle is extremely dangerous and cause massive deaths if it we’re to happen while driving. You can’t drive a commercial truck.

The really shitty thing is gonna be if it turns out it was a honest diabetic complication from new medication, she'll be charged with a DUI still for admitting to driving under the influence of a drug.

normal country

Uh either way he should NOT be driving a bus

CDL physical should have caught this and disqualified the driver.

Who wrote this? This is so poorly written.

Many trivial issues are made complicated.i saw some people become diabetic after severe illness or accidents probably of internal mechanism of the body insulin may not be produced by pancreas.severe illness happens with me. Accident happened to one of friends.later stabilised.

🙄

Ohhhhhh if this was a diabetic episode, she’s going to have to sue everybody. They had her face on the front of every news site claiming that she’d OD’d 😳😳😳

These paramedics couldn’t tell the difference between an overdose and a diabetic with a sugar spike? The cops couldn’t tell the difference between a heroin kit and a diabetics insulin kit? They should probably all be fired. Glad the kids are ok.

These stories are written for reactions and ratings. Sadly, the comments after the original story had people saying all types of unkind words. wonder how many are apologizing after reading the ‘update’...

This is sooooo confusing!

martin_kj I could be administered Narcan right now (I don’t use) and I may get a headache... that’s it. This is a ridiculous “story”.

If that doesn’t keep insurance companies at bay tell them driver was distraught with a death in the fam

uh, why is she being charged with impairment and drug paraphernalia, then? diabetics have to carry needles. a diabetic episode can cause this to happen. where is the crime?

It is common practice to give both dextrose(for low blood sugar,a diabetic emergency) and Narcan( for an opiate overdose) when the cause of a persons altered mental state or unconsciousness can’t be determined

Incompetence is a ugly thing.

ok so... wouldnt it be fair to assume a bus driver wouldnt be on opiates, especially the injecting kind, and still maintain their job. Im fairly certain they get drug tested relatively regularly and injecting opiates is usually pretty obvious.

Drug paraphernalia = Insulin needles?

Thie country is so full of drug addicts the first responders all assume the person is an OD..sad.

Nasal Narcan, can SOMETIMES work on Diabetic emergency.

fyi this was terribly written

Good grief! We have a Overreaction Epidemic to an Illegal Opioid Epidemic! What’s next?

I'm going to need to know what 'drug paraphernalia' you are speaking of before passing judgement in this story.

Narcan does not wake up diabetics

When was her medical card last updated ? Was she under a drs care ?

I don't understand. What was the paraphernalia? If it was for diabetes then someone needs training on how to spot a diabetic emergency. If she was an actual drug abuser than it makes sense but should be in the article.

😬

Narcan does not work on diabetics
