The Commission president recommitted to the EU’s green transition, called for new governance of AI, and outlined plans to make it easier to do business in Europe

Usrula Von Der Leyen has said Ukraine and much of the western Balkans’ future is within the EU, during her last state of the union address of the current political term.

The European Commission president gave a wide-ranging speech to the European Parliament this morning, touching on climate change, agriculture, artificial intelligence, competition with China and security on the European continent.
