The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller National Home Price Index, which measures average home prices in major metropolitan areas across the nation, rose 4.7% in the year ended in December. That was a significant slowdown from 2017, when home prices grew more than 6%.

I feel we need to make housing more affordable for low income individuals, to survive. One thing that I firmly believe if socialism serves, a common theme in America is everyone should have the basic survival nesesities, to live. Like Food, Clothing, Housing ect.
Inflation should show up in house prices so I'd be surprised to see a drop.
