John Dearden has many years of experience engraving beautiful inscriptions on jewellery, watches, plaques, and much more

A well-known Manchester engraver is celebrating 45 years in the industry - and it just happens to coincide with a move to brand new premises too.

John first established his engraving business operating out of House of Fraser - or Kendals, as it was known back then - where he remained until the department store sadly went into administration. He then opened an office in the Royal Exchange, before the move to Faulkner Street, in the heart of Chinatown.

It’s not just your typical monogrammed font that’s available either; from a corporate logo engraved on a crystal glass decanter to a copy of a loved one’s handwriting inside an engagement ring, you might be surprised what can be engraved. The move to the new premises at Faulkner Street does not necessarily mark a fresh start, but rather a continued commitment to producing beautiful engravings for customers to celebrate, commemorate and remember important people or occasions in their lives.
