Justice Henderson of Metal Art of Wisconsin displays one of the company's metallic American flags. The family business began in 2013 as a father-son project with Justice Henderson and his dad Shane Henderson. Metal Art of Wisconsin touts"The Gargantuan" as the world's largest butcher-block wavy flag, displayed by company president Shane Henderson, left, and employee Chad Seiler. The flag is 10 feet wide, weighs 500 pounds and is made from cherry and maple grown in Wisconsin by Amish farmers.The flag looked tested, beaten and battle-scarred. But it was shining, defiant and still waving."We got tons of interest and private messages. We got overwhelmed.
"My son’s childhood was spent going to bed with tape, wrapping paper and boxes in his room," said Henderson.
