Moose Jaw company Ray Donn Toews Building Materials Ltd. has been fined for a 2021 workplace incident that injured one person.

The company, owner of building material and hardware store Castle Building Centres, plead guilty to the charge in Moose Jaw provincial court last week.According to a press release from the provincial government, a fine was issued for a violation of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, for failing to comply, as an employer, in arranging safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances for employees, resulting in serious injury.
