Companies that take part in the Halifax show are focused on fulfilling their supply chain needs. The fact that 80 per cent of Canada’s navy is located here is also a shot in the arm. “This becomes a whole lot more important if, for example, you’re a foreign company that wants to sell to the government of Canada, because you have to make a dollar-for-dollar investment in Canada for the value of the product you’re selling,” said Stephenson.
