Two men are recovering in hospital after allegedly being stabbed by an unknown woman in Sydney’s west. Emergency services were called to a licensed venue on Valentine St, Parramatta on Wednesday night following reports of an assault. There they found two men — aged 58 and 52 — with stab wounds to their arms and hands. “Police were told that they were stabbed by a woman – unknown to them – at the scene,” NSW Police said.
Both men were treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition. The 30-year-old woman was arrested and taken to the same hospital for assessment. It’s understood she has since been released from hospital and has been taken to Merrylands Police Station. A crime scene was established as police commenced an investigation into the incident. Charges are yet to be laid. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
