BANGKOK (Reuters): Authorities in Thailand charged a 14-year-old boy with premeditated murder and illegal possession of a firearm on Wednesday (Oct 4) after a shooting spree at a Bangkok mall using what police said was a modified pistol intended to fire blanks.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia must give attention to being a competitive country in the global tourism industry, said MCA.

"The report also said Thailand is expected to see the entry of five million tourists who will contribute THB300bil to the economy. "This is the best time to attract these tourists because of the holiday season, which has begun and will continue until the end of this year or until Chinese New Year 2024.

Referring to the statement by Malaysia Inbound Tourism Association on Oct 1, which said although the number of Chinese tourists has increased during the 'Golden Week' season, Chong added that Malaysia must still compete to attract these tourists.
