Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad gave Kelantan state leaders a private briefing this morning on economic development.
In a statement today, Malay Proclamation secretariat chairman Khairuddin Abu Hassan said Mahathir gave the Kelantan state leaders a private briefing this morning on economic development. He added that, during the meeting, Mahathir stressed that there was potential for Kelantan to receive investments from Japan, South Korea, as well as the Middle East.Last month, Mahathir was appointed as the states’ economic adviser, particularly on administrative matters and to pull in foreign investment.
“The ‘Malaysia Incorporation’ concept of administration between the government and the private sector should be emulated by all states under SG4.”
