Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has initiated moves to establish a market called “Kefas Palliatives Market” in Jalingo, the state capital where goods, particularly farm produce would be sold at subsidised rates.
He said, “The state government will open a palliative market where food and non-food items would be sold at cheaper rates to residents of the state. The governor insisted that the government cannot continue to roll out food items to feed the people all the time since there are other challenges the government is facing with the present economic hardship in the country.
