Mark Millar is one of the most influential comic book creators of the past few decades in his own right, but like all writers in the medium, his work extends the legacy of legendary Marvel creator Stan Lee. Millar explained that not only did reading Stan's work as a child inspire him to pursue a career in comics, but also that a piece of advice from Stan led to Millar starting to write his hit series Wanted, "the next day."
