For the first time since 2019, Leeds is set to have a Christmas Market and this year it is set to be a little different than before. According to Leeds City Council, there will be 120 "Bavarian-style" market stalls across 13 areas of the city.
The Ice Cube outdoor skating rink will also be returning to Leeds alongside the market stalls and other attractions. It will run from November 24 until December 22. One councillor at Leeds City Council spoke about how the new pedestrianised spaces in the city would be used for the market. Councillor Jonathan Pryor, Leeds City Council’s executive member for economy, culture and education, said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing a new and exciting festive experience to Leeds this Christmas that will transform the whole city centre.
