Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) welcomed Chief Minister Datuk Seir Hajiji Noor’s statement to require government agencies and Government-Linked Companies having land banks to play their part in ensuring Sabah’s food security.

As such, SCCC President Datuk Frankie Liew, Deputy President Chua Man Kui and Vice President Datuk Jonathan Koh, JP jointly called on the State Cabinet to fully support and adopt the Chief Minister’s proposal to increase agriculture produce for Sabahans Daily Express Malaysia

They also urged a special emphasis on opportunities for the youth’s participation, in order to protect Sabah’s food security and enhance Sabah’s economy. “We fully support the Chief Minister’s statement, which reflects the motion proposed by SCCC at the recent 2023 Sabah Chinese Economic Conference.
