A woman has been hospitalised after she was hit in the face with a firework in Sydney’s southwest overnight. NSW Ambulance paramedics and NSW Police were called to Punchbowl on Monday night after the 26-year-old woman was injured.
Police say the woman was inside a store when she was hit by an unknown object. 7NEWS understands it was a firework. A group of about 30 to 40 people dispersed. The 26-year-old was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
