STAFF REPORT A Midland City man was shot and killed over the weekend after leaving a nightclub in downtown Dothan, according to police.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, at around 3:12 a.m., officers rushed to the 100 block of West Main Street after receiving reports that a victim had been shot in the parking lot of a business. Upon arrival, officials discovered Jaquez Octavious Hill, 20, of Midland City, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Dothan Police, investigators determined Hill was at an area nightclub prior to being shot in the parking lot while walking to his vehicle. No suspect has been identified at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3000.
