KUALA LUMPUR: Since taking office last November, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government has managed to secure over RM200bil in investment commitments from his 17 working trips overseas.
During the Prime Minister Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday , Anwar said his visit to China in March resulted in potential investments worth RM170.7bil. As for his visit to New York last month, Anwar said the US trip attracted some RM4.74bil in potential investments for Malaysia including from Google, Boeing, Medtronic and Siemens Healthineers and Alton Industry Ltd Group.
