Gareth Butterfield lives with the gorgeous new version of LG's flagship laptop

Laptops needn't look boring. Sure, their performance and practicality is what we buy them for, but LG has stuck its neck out and offered up an absolutely gorgeous new laptop that's probably one of the most attractive I've ever had my hands on.

They feature a 16" 16:10 WQXGA+ 3200x2000 OLED Display with a 120hz High Refresh Rate and HDR, and come with Windows 11 Home bundled in. It means, in reality, the lid has a stunning array of various colours, depending on lighting conditions, and this carries over to the palm rest. The OLED display is, as you'd expect, absolutely stunning, with 500 nits, but no touch-screen. And it does have a tendency to wobble on its hinge if you tap it, so that's probably not a bad thing.
