BOERNE, Texas - Small business owners in Boerne said there was an increase in tourism and business from the big crowds of people there to watch the Ring of Fire

Solar eclipse on Saturday.“I came from the panhandle of Florida, and I came from Streetsboro Ohio which is up near Cleveland,” said Mary Ann Hudnell and Joe Ruggieri.

“It’s a tourist destination I would say. Even without the car show or eclipse,” said Robert Williams from Austin.“This is my first time so yeah; I would come back because I like how it’s a quaint little town,” said Hudnell, who lives in Florida. “Absolutely, it started out maybe Thursday evening, afternoon and we really saw that Friday was huge. Today has been epic,” said Paula Hayward, who owns Bear Moon Bakery Cafe.
