Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has made his first official visit to Iraq as part of continued efforts to boost influence over and expand trade ties with the nation.

During the three day visit, President Rouhani will sign a series of agreements on energy, transport,

agriculture, industry and health. Mr Rouhani has already signalled his commitment to bolstering Iran-Iraq relations.
