- Wesdome Gold Mines announced today that the company produced 27,760 ounces of gold in Q3 2023, up 21% compared to Q3 2022 .

According to Wesdome, as expected, its combined production in Q3 was slightly lower than Q2 as a result of planned mill maintenance at Eagle River. In a press release, Wesdome said that its year to date performance of 87,119 ounces has the company tracking to the mid-point of its 110,000 - 130,000 ounce guidance range for 2023.

The company added that at its new Kiena gold mine, ramp development continues to track ahead of schedule, positioning the company well to develop and access higher grade reserves in H1 2024. Wesdome is a Canadian focused gold producer with two high grade underground assets, the Eagle River mine in Ontario and the recently commissioned Kiena mine in Quebec.
