Employers who underpay their workers will find it hard to keep them, says William Ng.

Most companies normally review staff salaries every year, resulting in regular salary increases, said William Ng.

“If employers pay less than what the rest of the market is paying, they will also find it difficult to attract workers,” Ng told FMT. Anwar, who is also the finance minister, said he had received complaints from private sector workers claiming that their wages had not increased despite their employers reporting strong earnings.
