Stocks in the Asia-Pacific region decreased Thursday, Oct. 19, with the Hong Kong market declining for the second session.

Among the Hang Seng Index constituents, life insurance company China Life Insurance 2628, -6.69% saw the largest drop in Hong Kong, as shares dropped 6.7% on Thursday. Shares of computers/consumer electronics firm Lenovo Group 992, +6.34% and gambling industries company Sands China 1928, +3.38% rose 6.3% and 3.4%, respectively.
