A unique Scottish property is set to be auctioned next month, with its main feature being a one-of-a-kind kitchen made out of a section of a Boeing 737 plane.

If you have ever dreamed of living inside an airplane, this might be as close as you are ever going to getA one-of-a-kind home in Scotland is going up for sale that includes a kitchen made from a Boeing 737 airplane., which is powered by solar panels, is situated in the Aberdeenshire town of Banff. It is set to go up for auction in November, where bidding will start at £40,000.

Current owner Andrew Mellon, 55, who is selling the home after switching careers from a private chef, installed the kitchen during the Covid-19 lockdown. During this time, he found the distinctive galley unit onwhen I found the galley unit on eBay. When it arrived, it was even more amazing than I imagined. It fitted the space perfectly, and I had some stainless steel counters made – I can store up to 1,000 items in the unit.

The property also comes with a building plot next door that has planning permission for three bedrooms and three bathrooms. According to Andrew, it would make a fantastic holiday rental if the new owners take advantage of the accompanying plot.
