Elyria police said for the past several months, they have increased their traffic enforcement and foot patrols in the downtown business district.

On Oct. 21 at 2:42 a.m., an Elyria officer attempted to stop Brittney Harris on Broad Street for driving without license plates and several moving violations.Harris was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

She is now charged with failure to comply, resisting arrest, failure to reinstate her driver’s license, no license plates and other charges.
